These Terms of Service govern your use of the Pharmacy Weight Loss Whitehaven online clinic. By placing an order or submitting a consultation, you agree to these terms in full. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
Pharmacy Weight Loss Whitehaven is a GPhC-registered online pharmacy (registration number 9012511) based in Whitehaven, Cumbria, UK. We provide clinically supervised weight loss consultations and prescription services to eligible patients.
To use our services, you must:
We reserve the right to decline treatment to anyone we consider unsuitable on clinical grounds. Our prescribers act in accordance with NHS and NICE guidelines at all times. Providing false information during a consultation may result in immediate cancellation of your order and potential referral to relevant authorities.
All prescriptions are issued by a GPhC-registered or GMC-registered prescriber following clinical review of your submitted consultation. A prescription will only be issued if treatment is deemed clinically appropriate for you.
We do not supply prescription-only medicines without a valid prescription. Prescriptions remain the property of the pharmacy and are retained in accordance with legal requirements. We cannot guarantee that a prescription will be issued following a consultation, and consultation fees are non-refundable where a clinical decision is made not to prescribe.
Payment is required in full at the time of order. We accept major debit and credit cards. All transactions are processed securely. Prices displayed on our website are inclusive of VAT where applicable and are subject to change without prior notice. Your total will be confirmed before final checkout.
In the event of a pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund. We will contact you promptly should this occur.
Once your consultation has been reviewed and approved by our pharmacist, your medication will be dispatched within 1 working day. Delivery is carried out via a tracked courier service. We are not liable for delays caused by third-party couriers, incorrect address information provided by the patient, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Please ensure your delivery address is accurate at the time of ordering. Failed deliveries due to incorrect addresses may incur a redelivery charge.
You may cancel your order before it has been clinically reviewed and dispatched by contacting us immediately. Once a prescription has been issued and the order dispatched, cancellations cannot be accepted due to the nature of prescription medicines.
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, the right to cancel does not apply to prescription medicines. If your item arrives damaged or incorrectly supplied, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt and we will resolve the matter promptly.
The information provided on our website is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice. Our services do not replace your regular GP or healthcare provider. You should continue to inform your GP of any medications prescribed through our service.
Weight loss medications carry risks and potential side effects. These will be outlined during your consultation. If you experience any adverse effects, discontinue use and seek medical attention immediately. In an emergency, always call 999 or attend your nearest A&E.
We process your personal and health data in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Your data is used solely for the provision of clinical and pharmacy services. We aim to respond to all data-related enquiries within 48 hours. Full details are available in our Privacy Policy.
